newborn sessions

Having a new baby is such an exciting time in your life, and I love to capture the realness of it. I don’t photograph newborns in the “traditional” sense with props and special poses. Instead, I focus on authentic moments with your family.

Home Session

I love photographing newborns in an environment that’s white, clean, and bright. If your home has an area like that, then you don’t even need to leave your house, I’ll come to you! There won’t be a time limit on in-home sessions, we work around baby’s mood and schedule, but I estimate 2-3 hours in total.

$600

Studio Session

I love photographing newborns in an environment that’s white, clean, and bright. If your home doesn’t really have that, we can book Locust & Vine Studios in Cincinnati! They are available to rent for a minimum of one hour, with 30 minute add-ons available. If your session will be just parents and baby, I’d recommend scheduling 2 hours. If other children will be at your session, I’d recommend 2.5 hours.

All white studio with tons of natural light. There is a bed and couch, and a variety of stools, chairs, plants, and colored backdrops available for use.

2 hour session - $610

2.5 hour session - $650

  • I don't photograph newborns with a bunch of different props like baskets, little beds, etc. I take a more natural approach and love to photograph real moments with your family.

For the photos of just baby, I get a variety of angles and a lot of details like their little hands, feet, lips, etc. I have a white swaddle that I can put baby in, or you can bring your own options!

Babies are easiest to photograph when they're sleeping, but that doesn't mean we can't take photos when they're awake too. Having a warm cozy room, white noise, and a full belly helps them to be content and still for photos!

  • The date you schedule will depend on your delivery plan and where you schedule your session.

If you choose an in-home session, let’s schedule the week of your due date. Then you can let me know when baby has arrived, and choose a date for me to come over within the first 2 weeks of delivery.

If you choose a studio session, we have to reserve the date in advance. I would recommend choosing a date that’s 1-2 weeks after your due date. The studio does not allow refunds, but we are allowed to reschedule the date with 48 hours notice, so no worries if we end up needing to move the date earlier or later.

  • Every session is different, but you can expect to receive 75-150 photos! I promise to not hold any of the good ones back!

  • My turnaround time is 4-6 weeks. I carefully edit each photo to be as perfect as possible, so I promise your gallery will be worth the wait!

  • I will send a digital gallery to your email! You’ll have access to download all the photos, and there’s a print store built in that you can order from.

I can also mail a USB flash drive for an additional $20, if requested.

  • I can edit things like blemishes, flyaway hairs, and stains. I don't offer any body-altering edits or major changes.

For newborn sessions specifically, I spend extra time editing blemishes from baby's skin, since they tend to have baby acne, dry skin, etc. If you prefer I don't edit that out, please let me know!

  • No, I only deliver the edited versions! Raw photos are not the complete project, so they’re not an accurate representation of my work.

let’s work together!

so you’re ready to book? here’s what’s next:

Let me know your due date and which session you’d like to schedule!

In order to reserve your session date, half of the package price is due upon booking. This serves as the retainer fee and is non-refundable. The remaining half will be due one day before your session. I will email an invoice and contract file, which can be paid and signed online.

Once I receive your retainer payment and signed contract, your session will be reserved! Then I’ll send you a session prep guide to give you more info about what to expect, as well as outfit inspo!

can’t wait to meet you!

I’m seriously so happy you found me, thank you for reaching out! If there are any questions on your mind, please ask!
